KC Cherry Blossom Stereo
Kansas City is blessed with flowering trees. The season starts in April and ends by May. This stereo pair can be viewed by crossing your eyes to merge the left and right images, similar to the other stereo pairs we have shown before. Click on the image for a larger view.
Car Wash
In Maine, we would wash our car at home. Living in the city makes that a bit difficult and so we went to a car wash for the first time in a long time. Well, it was quite a show! I expected the brushes and soap, but not the colors. Click on the image for a larger view.
Life in a Box
Life in Kansas City is very different from the one in Maine. We live hundreds of feet above the ground. In some ways our landscape is static and removed, filled with immovable buildings and shielded by glass. Yet, the sun and weather constantly modifying that. City Life
Naomi and I have not lived in a city for a very long time. It is a treat to be able to walk out of your home and enjoy restaurants and the arts. A block away from our apartment is the Milwaukee Delicatessen: a wonderful place to relax. Perhaps it is the mid-western attitude or the character of a neighborhood landmark, but the atmosphere is unhurried and friendly. The pizza is great too. Click on the image for a larger view.
